Receptionist

We are a busy Chartered Professional Accounting firm seeking a fulltime Receptionist to add to our administrative team in our Terrace location.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills. We are looking for someone with a positive outgoing professional attitude. Being a team player is essential for working in our fast paced, paperless environment. As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant you will be the primary point of contact for our clients and the go-to person for the office.

Required skills:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
  • Diligent with details on all projects;
  • Ability to be flexible and available to work overtime as required;
  • Able to work in a confidential environment with complete discretion;
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, Adobe PDF and general office equipment; and
  • Effective communicator, a critical thinker, organized and enjoy working as a team

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, greet clientele;
  • Receive & record payments and perform other clerical duties;
  • Coordinate with all staff and Partners to help get the required tasks completed;
  • Preparing documents, filing, scanning; and
  • Reception with a multi-line telephone system

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
