Quality Assurance Tester (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.

• Identify, record, and track bugs and defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on software products.

• Review project requirements and specifications to ensure they align with product features and functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing coverage and completeness.

• Provide feedback on user experience and interface functionality.

•  

• Document test results and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.

•  

• Continuously research and adopt best practices in quality assurance and testing processes.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies throughout the software development lifecycle.

•  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•  

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role in software development.

•  

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

•  

• Proficient in writing clear and concise bug reports and test cases.

•  

• Experience with various testing tools and bug tracking software.

•  

• Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment.

•  

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

•  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a virtual team environment.

•  

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

•  

Experience:

•  

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or software testing role.

•  

• Experience working with remote teams is preferred but not required.

•  

• Previous experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, or both is highly desirable.
