Online English Tutor (Remote)

Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking passionate and dedicated Online English Tutors to join our fast-growing e-learning platform. As an Online English Tutor, you will help non-native speakers from diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds improve their English communication skills. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 or group virtual English lessons using a provided curriculum.

• Customize lesson plans according to student proficiency and learning goals.

•  

• Deliver engaging, interactive, and supportive sessions to learners of all levels (beginner to advanced).

•  

• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback and recommendations.

•  

• Maintain accurate records of classes, student attendance, and performance.

•  

• Participate in training sessions and team meetings when necessary.

•  

• Communicate professionally and promptly with learners and internal teams.

•  

Required Skills and Qualifications

•  

• Fluent in spoken and written English (native-level or equivalent).

•  

• Bachelors degree in English, Education, or related field preferred (not mandatory).

•  

• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (preferred, but not essential).

•  

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•  

• Comfortable using video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

•  

• A quiet and distraction-free work environment.

•  

• Basic technical skills for remote teaching (e.g., file sharing, screen sharing, etc.).

•  

Experience

•  

• Prior online or offline teaching/tutoring experience is a plus.

•  

• Freshers with excellent command of English and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
