Job Summary
We are currently seeking an HR officer at our facility in Awka, Anambra State, to efficiently in manage our employees and employee data, maintain confidentiality with documents, and other handle clerical duties.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full HR function including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and performance management
- Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and disciplinary frameworks that align with Nigerian labor laws and company values
- Manage payroll administration and employee benefits, including HMO and leave tracking
- Support managers with workforce planning, shift structuring, and performance improvement processes
- Foster employee engagement and retention through structured feedback, coaching, and communication strategies
- Handle internal investigations, grievance procedures, and conflict resolution in a fair and professional manner
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems
- Collaborate closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams to align HR strategy with company objectives
- Coordinate accommodation and onboarding support for out-of-town and expatriate staff Champion a culture of professionalism, compliance, and continuous improvement across all departments
Requirements:
- BSc or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sector
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Good understanding of compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Proficiency in HR software or ERP systems is an advantage
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism Professional HR certifications will be an added advantage.
