Graduate Internship Program
Graduate Internship Program at TechnoServe Nigeria offers recent graduates hands-on experience in operations, finance, HR, and project support, contributing to sustainable development.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in a one-year internship (full-time or part-time) in Operations, Finance, Human Resources, or Program/Project Support departments.
- Supporting day-to-day activities such as travel and logistics, fleet management, safety and security, inventory management, procurement, asset management, and non-fringe insurance (Operations).
- Assisting with financial status assessment, cash management, payment processing, accounts monitoring, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting (Finance).
- Engaging in recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and other employee lifecycle activities (Human Resources).
- Contributing to donor-funded programs and projects addressing social, economic, or environmental issues (Program/Project Support).
- Collaborating with team members in a multicultural environment.
- Upholding confidentiality and professional work ethics.
- Interpreting, analyzing, and explaining internal data.
- Maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail in problem-solving.
- Working independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least a B.Sc. from an accredited university in or outside Nigeria.
- NYSC/Intern status (must be a current corp member or recent NYSC graduate).
- Experience with donor-funded projects and administrative processes (preferred).
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and demonstrate professional work ethics.
- Teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in computer use, internet, Microsoft Office suites, Google Workspace, and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and explain internal data.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Willingness to work in Kano, Lagos, Delta, Abuja, or Anambra.
Compensation & Benefits
- Interns are entitled to 1 day of leave per month (Corp members may use this for CDS meetings).
