Position: Factory Manager

Job Brief

Paramount Woodworks Ltd, a wooden room door, kitchens, bedroom furniture,warddrops, vanities, office furniture and other furniture company. Require the service of an experienced and hardworking candidate as a Factory Manager for immediate employment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Meeting customer’s expectations
• Assigning tasks to the factory workers
• Maintaining high-quality standards
• Taking corrective action
• Planning factory daily routines
• Regularly inspecting finished products
• Preparing production schedules
• Motivating workers
• Resolve any production issues.
• Monitoring the factory operations

Requirements

• Ability to multitask
• Time management skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
• Professional in all Microsoft Office applications
• Certification in production and inventory management as well as quality control
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory
• Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in a wood manufacturing company
• Membership in a relevant professional body will be an added advantage

Qualification

• B.Eng/HND in Engineering field or other related field
